a) Library
The library is well furnished, accommodating 1,126 books and 3 journals for the Department of
English.
The e-library is equipped with e-journals and e-books from INFLIBNET N-list access to 6000
+e-journals and 30,00,000 + e-books to inculcate
knowledge
management activities among students and staff to fulfill the mission of the Institution.
It has a spacious reading area with adequate lighting facility and ventilation.
16 CCTV cameras are placed at strategic points in the library for surveillance
b) Internet facilities for staff & students
The institution is Wi-Fi enabled. The department is provided a computer with internet facility
to
facilitate networking of information.
c) Total number of class rooms
The department has three spacious, ventilated classrooms which can accommodate 70 students. This
creates amicable learning environment.
d) Class rooms with ICT facility
The institution facilitates teaching learning with audio visual hall equipped with ICT facility.
It
is a valuable tool to enhance the learning experience and accessing resources. ICT facility
helps
students to see the film adaptation of the prescribed literary pieces. With the help of ICT,
students learn pronunciation of English language recommended by IPA.
e) Students’ laboratories
The Department has a language laboratory with updated software on language teaching. Language
laboratory is a place where a learner can undergo tutor- learning, self learning and practicing
listening skills using technology. It enables the students to learn the language efficiently.
