About the Department

The Department of Computer Science has been successful since 1999 with the aim of imparting quality education and to pave way for the students to be well aware of the emerging trends in the field of Information Technology.

Students are trained in such a way that they are well moulded to face the challenges of this competitive world.

Our Department consists of 12 dedicated Faculty members and 351 students. Every year our students are securing University ranks and getting placed in various Multinational Companies.

The vision of the Department is "To provide a wholesome educational environment, a platform for the students to reinvent themselves and launch the technological and scientific arena with human values".

Objective of the Department

Enable the students to design, develop, document and test software using advanced techniques.
Enable the students will understand the computer architecture ,hardware, and computing theory.

Scope of the courses

Job Opportunities: Employment in all organizations working with Information Technology (e.g. CTS, TCS, INFOSYS, HCL etc).
Higher Studies: M.Sc(cs), M.Sc(IT), M.C.A.

FOURTH NATIONAL WORKSHOP

Department of computer science conducted a national workshop titled “PHP with MySql” on 25.09.18 To 27.09.18.

The main objective of the programme is to make the students to develop android apps on their own. Totally 106 students from B.Sc and B.C.A attended the workshop.

Day 1- Mr.Venkatramana Jothibabu was the resource person

Day 2- Practical session on PHP and MySql was conducted.

Day 3- Mr.S.Raj Kumar was the resource person

FIFTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Department of computer science conducted a national conference titled “Recent Trends In Computer Science” on 28.09.18 ,in association with ICT and IIR journals.74 students of B.C.A & B.Sc departments published their papers.
