Admissions and Withdrawal
  • Candidates for admission to the first year U.G. course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, conducted by T.N.H.S.E.B. or any other examination approved by the syndicate as equivalent, thereto.

    Every candidate for admission should present his/her Transfer Certificate from the school or college which he/she last attended. Applications for admission from private candidates will be entertained only if they are accompanied by Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras.

  • Applicants for the U.G. Degree Course must have completed 18 years and 6 months of age on 1st July of the year of admission. The upper age limit for admission to U.G. Course will be 21 years.
  • Candidates who are admitted on the basis of qualification of other Universities or bodies should fully satisfy all the prescribed conditions and such admissions are subject to the recognition and confirmation by the University. The provisional admission is at the risk of the candidates.
  • Students who are found to have obtained admission by false representation will be summarily dismissed with forfeiture of all fees paid.
  • No students will be enrolled or permitted to attend classes until the fee dues from him/her have been paid. This will be strictly adhered to.
  • The students must keep the fees receipts carefully and must produce them whenever required.
  • Students who discontinue their course of study must apply for T.C. within 5 working days from the date of reopening of the college for the year.
  • Collection of the fees due to the college will not be suspended just because the award of Scholarship is expected from some agency and late payment of fee will necessarily incur a fine.
  • All enquiries by the students at the office will be attended to during lunch time and between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. Students are advised not to
    come to the office for enquiries during class hours. Students requisition letters should be submitted before 12.30 p.m. at the college office.
